Fauji Lalit Mohan Joshi was born in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand and best known as a Kumaoni and Uttrakhand's Folk singer. He is one of the best singer of uttrakhand and has strong popularity among people due to his melodies voice.

MUSIC CAREER: He started his singing career with the album of "Teri bholi anvara" and this album gets a big hit. People liked all the songs of this album and all songs was hit but one songs "Tak taka tak kamla" was super hit and that song was played in every party and function. 

He gave many hit songs and albums to Uttarakhand which include "Oh chandu drivara", “Maya Ki Yaad“, "Dil todi kamla", “Tak Taka Tak Kamla”, "Naital ki madhuli", "Hey deepa". Whenever a list is prepared about top singers of Uttarakhand, name of Fauji Lalit Mohan Joshi always comes in the list. He was in army initially but due to his ultimate dedication towards singing and melodious voice, he entered into singing domain.
